What a great salad this was, and so lovely – the purple and green. It is a delicious combination of flavors and textures.
We used a small red onion finely chopped instead of the onion juice, otherwise, we made the recipe as directed. We found this recipe at the Big Oven site. It was originally posted in ” Southern Living Magazine”, October, 1972.
