Hey you guys! The Worldwide Vegan Bake Sale is this Sunday! And if you’re in NYC, you can come get your goodies at Mooshoes!!! Their sale supports Positive Tails, who is only THE BEST. So you HAVE to go. And go early because I’m sure Abby Bean and 89 will be there and you know they will buy everything.

All the deets!:

What: The NYC installment of the Worldwide Vegan Bake Sale. Synchronized vegan pastries all over the globe!
Where: MooShoes, 78 Orchard Street, NYC
When: Sunday, May 3, 12:30-5:30 PM
Why: Because no animal should  have to die because their human can’t afford care. And because vegan baked goods are delicious.

It’s another week, and another major food company is making waves about farm animal mistreatment. This time, the largest U.S. foodservice company—Aramark—made a major announcement with HSUS regarding a series of sweeping animal welfare reforms in its supply chain.

McDonald’s isn’t doing so well though, and in fact it’s closing hundreds of locations. What might help the company out? I offer my thoughts in this Associated Press story.

If you’re a dinosaur fan, like I am, you’ll be psyched by this new discovery of an herbivorous relative of T-Rex.

Finally, this is perhaps the only time both “sane” and “Paul Shapiro” have gone in the same title of an article.
