Sorry for the late heads up but there’s still time to get tickets for Food Empowerment Project’s 9th Anniversary Benefit! It’s happening TOMORROW, April 30th, at VegNews Headquarters in lovely San Francisco. Tickets are $25 for the olds and free for kids. Food and drinks will be provided–all VEGAN food and drinks! Huzzah! Here are some of the awesome companies donating food to the event:

HUBBA HUBBA! There will also be a silent auction FULL of awesome stuff for you to bid on. And man, do I love a silent auction. It combines my two favorite things: buying stuff and not talking to people! Here are the some of the companies donating items for auction:

If you don’t know Food Empowerment Project, well shame on you because you obvi don’t read Vegansaurus enough! We are big fans of their mission:

Food Empowerment Project seeks to create a more just and sustainable world by recognizing the power of one’s food choices. We encourage healthy food choices that reflect a more compassionate society by spotlighting the abuse of animals on farms, the depletion of natural resources, unfair working conditions for produce workers, and the unavailability of healthy foods in low-income areas.

So come out, come out, Bay Area! Have some fun and support a great cause!
